Give Him Up Prologue

N was sitting on his couch watching the movie, "The Hangover", with his best friend Touya.


"I know, I know I just wish your friends were as mature as you."

"They are mature."

A car pulls up.

"Paging Dr. Faggot! Paging Dr. Faggot!"

"…I think I should go…"

"Yeah maybe you should, Dr. Faggot."


Touya and N laughed. But their laughing immediately stopped when N's phone erupted in his pocket. Touya paused the movie as N pushed the 'answer' button.


"Hello?" He asked when he heard crying on the other side. He could already tell who it was.


"C-Cheren… He's late, again." Touko's voice was cracking. N's anger was boiling inside of him.


"Don't worry, I'll be right there." With that, N hung up and got up from the couch. It wasn't new to N that this would happen, neither to Touya.


"Cheren?" Touya asked in annoyed tone. N nodded with a serious face.


"You know, you're a better man for her." Touya said getting up and walked with N to the front door of N's house. "She's just too blind to see it." Touya's words hit N's heart hard. N had always loved Touko but when Cheren asked her out, he was miserable. Cheren was always a player and still is. One that is hard to catch in the act.


"Please Touya, let's not talk about that…." Touya knew what he meant by that sentence. Although, he still had one thing to say. They got into N's car when Touya turned to him and said the words N's heart had been saying all the time since Touko started dating Cheren.


"She needs to Give Him Up."
